Ukraine's air defences intercepted or jammed 54 of seventy-eight enemy drones sent towards the country during the night, the aerial defense command said on the weekend.

Cuba Refutes Accusations of Providing Troops to the War

Havana on Saturday rejected American assertions it has sent troops to participate in the conflict in Ukraine, while declaring officials in Havana "do not have exact details about citizens of Cuba" engaged "on their own" or "in the military forces of either party".

The ministry in Havana stated twenty-six nationals had been sentenced to prison terms ranging from five up to fourteen years for mercenary involvement since the autumn of 2023 when information circulated of individuals being deployed to the front in Ukraine.
